Maureen K. Rulison

President of Medicaid and Financial Planning Services

Maureen has been serving senior Americans since 1994, first in her capacity with The Department of Children and Families as a Public Assistance Specialist Supervisor in the Aging and Adult Program and then with Medicaid Planning Services as an Account Representative and Medicaid Planning Specialist. Ms. Rulison founded A Guiding Light, Inc. in 2004 as a resource for solving Medicaid problems and to be able to network on behalf of seniors and guide them through the many difficulties they face in life transitions. Maureen has created a circle of professionals who could assist senior’s in a myriad of other areas (see our friends page). Over the past years A Guiding Light has helped hundreds of seniors in the State of Florida. In 2008, Maureen created a dba for A Guiding Light Inc. to Medicaid and Financial Planning Services.
